House Speaker Nancy Pelosi royally embarrassed herself twice this week, first in a sensational situation at a San Francisco hair salon and then again in her bizarre denial.
Pelosi was caught on camera inside of the salon as she had her hair shampooed and blow-dried, despite the very clearly local ordinance that forbids any hair service from occurring indoors. After the footage went viral, Madame Speaker made the absolutely bizarre and unsubstantiated claim that the whole thing was a “set up”, as if these salon owners were mafioso-like political operatives.
The claim was so bizarre, in fact, that even CNN’s Don Lemon broke from his normally-glowing support of Pelosi to ridicule her.
In response to the scandal, Californians took to shaming Pelosi in a hilarious way.
A group of demonstrators on Thursday hung blow dyers and curlers on a tree outside House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) San Francisco residence after the top congressional Democrat was caught violating coronavirus lockdown restrictions in her home city to get her hair done without a mask.
The demonstrators, who appeared to all be women, branded themselves as “angry salon customers” who want to get their hair done.
Footage from the scene was remarkable.

Pelosi has long been considered an outspoken proponent of social distancing and mask-wearing, oftentimes putting her at odds with the far more lax Republican Party.
