Nadler Claims 2020 Election Will Be Compromised by a Failed Impeachment

This is precisely the sort of fear-mongering that Vladimir Putin would be applauding.

Much of what the Democrats have done over the course of the last few weeks could be easily seen as fear-mongering, and that is a despicable practice to be engaging in with the fate of the nation hanging in the balance.

We have been told by the Democrats time and again that President Trump, a duly-elected leader, is some sort of threat to our national security.  It began with rumors and gossip regarding his potential connections to the Russian government – something that was later found to be either untrue or insufficient to manifest legal charges against him after an exhaustive investigation by Robert Mueller.

Now, instead of Russia we have Ukraine, and we are being told by the left that Trump is somehow eschewing the American national security apparatus in order to benefit himself politically.

House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler has taken this bizarre sentiment even further, however, and is now telling the nation that, unless Trump is impeached, their votes will not count in 2020.

From Meet The Press on Sunday:

Host Chuck Todd asked, “Let me ask this, if he is acquitted, do you think we’ll have a fair election in 2020?”

Nadler said, “I don’t know. The president, based on his past performs performance will do everything he can to make it not a fair election, and that is part of what gives us urgency to proceed with this impeachment.”

This is dangerous and frightening on almost every level as Americans grasp desperately at the fringes of their very own democracy in 2019.  The very core of our confidence in government is being shaken to the core on his issue, and that only behooves one person:  Vladimir Putin.
