Nancy Pelosi Channels Her Inner 5th Grader, Calls President Trump ‘Fat’ on Live TV
How childish.
If our elected officials become any more childish, we’re going to have to start changing their diapers.
American politicians have always been petulant, for the most part. Their entire existence is founded on the idea that they, and others like them, can keep the arguments alive long enough for self-governance to work. A hearty, free debate is the very basis of our electoral republic, after all.
But in this world of mainstream media fandom, and under the bright lights of the mainstream media, these cretinous Congresspersons have turned pedantic and petty.
For an example of this, we needn’t look any further than House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent appearance on CNN, in which she used a 4th grade insult against President while speaking to Anderson Cooper.
Host Anderson Cooper asked, “Madam Speaker, what is your reaction to the president saying he is now taking hydroxychloroquine? Are you concerned?”
Pelosi said, “As far as the president is concerned, he’s our president and I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists, especially in his age group and in his, shall we say, weight group — morbidly obese they say.”
Next thing you know, Pelosi was be taping “kick me” signs to the back of Don Jr.’s jacket, or putting gum in Ivanka’s hair.
