Nationwide Mueller Report Protests Planned as Americans Grow Impatient

More than 16,000 Americans have engaged with the protests online, lending an air of urgency to the proceedings.

In times such as this, with the ruling class elites dividing We The People more compartmentally than ever before, that we remind ourselves that we are in charge.

From the congressional cretins to the Commander in Chief, and from city councilmen to the Special Counsel, all of these posts are filled by public servants, paid for by the American taxpayer and, supposedly, beholden to us as well.

Of course, with Congress’ special interest income and lobbying luxuries growing into billion dollar industry of their own, the American taxpayer is getting lost in the shuffle.  These politicians are getting bigger paychecks from corporations than from taxpayers, leading to a complete and utter ignorance of the needs and wants of the nation at large.

In other words; we’ve been cast aside by our government officials for the sake of their own wealth, and it’s time to put our foot down.

A lightning rod in this debate over who’s the boss has been the Mueller report; 300+ pages of information about the Russian government’s attempt to subvert our democracy.  As taxpayers, and as the people who funded the report, it would be an unfathomable betrayal of trust for the public to not be given the information contained within.

Now it looks as though Americans will be doing something about it.

A coalition of the nation’s biggest progressive grassroots organizations is activating a nationwide protest plan in response to Attorney General William Barr’s expected failure to meet a Tuesday deadline set by House Democrats to release special counsel Robert Mueller’s full Russia report to Congress.

With hundreds of locations set across the country, Stand Up America, MoveOn.org, Indivisible and Public Citizen are among the groups orchestrating a “Nationwide Day of Action” on Thursday, according to a release provided to NBC News.

Bill Barr has committed to a “mid-April” timeline for a redacted version of the report to become available, something that congressional lawmakers are none too pleased with.

Over 16,000 have RSVP’d “attending” for a protest scheduled for outside the White House.
