Newly released video shows moment Iranian troops hijacked British oil tanker
There is no end in sight to Iran’s nonsense, as President Trump tells the world that they are in “big trouble”.
The Strait of Hormuz is one of the busiest shipping ports in the entire world, made all the more vital due to its importance in the Middle East’s oil industry.
It is this strategic distinction that has made the Strait a major bone of contention among international observers as of late, as Iran continues to harass ships off their coast. As recently as yesterday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard seized a British oil tanker in the all-important passage, setting in motion a number global admonishments directed at Tehran.
President Trump put it quite succinctly in the Oval Office yesterday, stating simply that “Iran is in big trouble”.
Now, dramatic video from the Gulf shows the moment that Iranian troops boarded the ship.
To add insult to injury, the footage was aired on Iranian state television networks in a propaganda campaign aimed at further rattling the proverbial sabers in the direction of the western world.
Iran has said they are taking these actions in reciprocity for international sanctions placed on the rogue regime.
