Obama Attorney Hints at Perpetual Impeachment if Current Attempt Fails

Now they’re just getting desperate.

One of the most salient complaints being made by House Republicans of late is that the Democrats have been considering this impeachment of Donald Trump since the very beginning of his political career.

If true, this would completely dismantle the narrative being crafted by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, so claims to have only been compelled to impeachment after the UkraineGate conspiracy theory got off the ground.  Many in the media surmise, however, that Pelosi was actually goaded into the step by the radical leftist influence of newcomers to Congress such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York City.

This would also signal that the Democrats have no problem with the constant adjudication of any President that they don’t particularly like…something that some within the party are already calling for.

“If the Senate doesn’t vote to convict Trump, or tries to monkey w his trial, he could of course be retried in the new Senate should he win re-election,” tweeted Neal Katyal, who served as acting solicitor general under former President Obama.

“Double jeopardy protections do not apply,” he added, referring to the principle that suspects can’t be tried twice for the same crime. “And Senators voting on impeachment in the next months know this.”

Katyal went on to promote his book pushing impeachment on Twitter. He was one of the lawyers who fought President Trump’s travel ban in court.

The statement comes just a day after Democratic Rep. Al Green, who has repeatedly attempted to impeach Trump previously, indicated that he had no problem with numerous future attempts to remove the President from office in the coming year.
