Peeved POTUS Slams Gov. Inslee, Demands He Squash Seattle’s Six-Block Secession
Things are getting downright uncivil in Seattle.
Scenes from the so-called “Capital Hill Autonomous Zone” in the heart of Seattle have flooded social media over the course of the last few days, adding yet another layer of eery coincidence to the predicament America has gotten herself into in 2020.
There has been talk of a “second Civil War” in America for years – this is what happens when we let the media divide us for the sake of dollars after all – but lately, all of this talk has been tinged with the tensions around us, and how they mimic that first horrid conflict so well.
And, as if to stick a finger in the eye of the folks who are looking for a silver lining on the news every night, six blocks of the City of Seattle has been “taken” by protesters after they forced the Seattle Police to retreat.
They are calling the area the “Capital Hill Autonomous Zone”, and they are warning visitors at the door that they are “leaving the USA”.
This has been ongoing for several nights, bleeding into social media like an anarchist landslide. And you had better believe that President Trump is aware of the situation.
President Trump tweeted late Wednesday that “domestic terrorists” have taken over an area in Seattle amid George Floyd protests and blamed the city’s “radical left Democrats” for contributing to the unrest.
“Radical Left Governor @JayInslee and the Mayor of Seattle are being taunted and played at a level that our great Country has never seen before,” Trump tweeted. “Take back your city NOW. If you don’t do it, I will. This is not a game. These ugly Anarchists must be stooped (sic) IMMEDIATELY. MOVE FAST!”
Inslee, along with Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan, responded to Trump’s tweet.
His tweet did not go unanswered.
Mayor Jenny Durkan, a Democrat, took a swipe at Trump, and responded, “Make us all safe. Go back to your bunker. #BlackLivesMatter.”
Gov. Jay Inslee also fired back at Trump on Twitter, posting, “A man who is totally incapable of governing should stay out of Washington state’s business. ‘Stoop’ tweeting.”
As of this writing, the Capital Hill Autonomous Zone is still standing, but for how long, no one knows.
