Political Scientist Says Trump Impeachment Guarantees Four More Years of MAGA

Well, that settles it.

The Democrats will undoubtedly be bringing articles of impeachment to the Senate floor in the coming days, and that could signal the end for the 2020 race according to one political scientist.

This isn’t exactly a novel idea, with a great many conservative pundits floating the possibility over the years.  This time, however, the information is coming from a highly reputable and renowned source.

A Trump impeachment would guarantee the president’s re-election, according to political expert Jeanne Zaino.

“What the Democrats will do is, they will clearly impeach him and he will be acquitted in the Senate. And, I think they do themselves a disservice then, because this will engage his base and energize his base to get out. He will use this, as we’ve seen him use it in the last few days on the campaign trail,” she added.

There seems to be little doubt that Trump will face impeachment in the coming days, and that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will move to swiftly acquit him.  According to Zaino, this is exactly what the doctored ordered.
