President Trump Demands That Joe Biden Be Drug Tested at Debate

Things are getting testy before the first debate.

President Trump has been ramping up preparations for this week’s presidential debate, which is the first of its kind during this 2020 election cycle.

His opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, is a classic Washington establishment figure who has plenty of experience on the debate stage.  This has led the President to make a few statements over the course of the last few days in which he appears to have tamped down expectations, likely on account of the mainstream media’s almost certain unwillingness to allow Trump to be declared a “winner” at these engagements.

Trump has also suggested, on several occasions, that Biden may be using some sort of performance enhancing drug in order to remain cogent during speaking appearances, and the President is now demanding that Biden be drug-tested before or after the debate.

Trump, who tweeted the message shortly before 10 a.m., said he would also agree to a drug test if Biden agrees. The president said drugs could only explain Biden’s uneven debate performances in the past.

“I will be strongly demanding a Drug Test of Sleepy Joe Biden prior to, or after, the Debate on Tuesday night. Naturally, I will agree to take one also. His Debate performances have been record setting UNEVEN, to put it mildly. Only drugs could have caused this discrepancy???” Trump wrote.

Biden and Trump have been trading barbs over each others’ mental fitness as of late, particularly after the former Vice President experienced a number of strange temper tantrums out on the campaign trail.  Biden called one town hall attendee both “fat” and “a damn liar”, and then, weeks later, described a woman in the crowd at another event as a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier”.

If this is what Biden’s like on drugs, maybe we don’t want to see how bad he is without them.
