Pro-Impeachment Protesters Interrupt Veterans Day Celebration

The classless nature of this protest has to be seen to be believed.

As the rest of the nation spends time honoring those who have served bravely within the American armed forces, the “resistance” was up to their anti-Trump schtick.

Veterans Day is meant to be a day of celebration, in many ways.  We aren’t saddled by the morose and morbid auspices of Memorial Day, rather, we look to those who have returned from duty with thanks.  These men and women are the very epitome of courage and the American spirit, and are deserving of the platitudes of gratitude that our nation can provide them.

Yet here we are, witnessing a political stunt of unmatched classlessness.

New York City protesters disrupted President Donald Trump’s speech to honor American veterans on Monday.

The president joined the annual Veterans Day parade kickoff event in Madison Square Park, the first president in history to do so.

Trump said he and First Lady Melania Trump came “to express the everlasting love and loyalty of 327 million Americans” for veterans.

As President Trump began his speech, protesters gathered in the side-streets shouted: “Lock him up!”

The ugly affair was caught on camera.

That wasn’t the only act of “resistance” either.

The single-minded nature of the anti-Trump “resistance” has manifested itself within Congress as of late, with Democrats refusing to legislate during their push to impeach the President.
