REPORT: CIA Called Off INSANE Ukrainian Plan to Strike Moscow

This would undoubtedly have kicked off the third world war.

If World War III does rise out of the dust that continues to be stirred up in Eastern Europe over the course of the last year, then Russian President Vladimir Putin will have no one to blame but himself.

This is because Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is failing so horribly that the Russian army’s reputation is in shambles.  The Kremlin has already been forced to unwillingly conscript hundreds of thousands of untrained Russian citizens, many of whom simply surrendered the moment that they found Ukrainian troops.

Things have turned so poor, in fact, that Russia now faces the possibility of airstrikes on their soil…sometimes from their own pilots.

But what about Ukraine?  Could Russia become so weak that Kyiv decides to launch a strike against Putin in his own backyard?

Just such a plan was allegedly in the works already, but the American intelligence community has reportedly shut that down.

Ukraine planned a massive strike on the Russian capital earlier this year, and it was only called off after a warning from the US government.

A leaked Pentagon report reveals that Ukraine’s head of military intelligence (HUR) ordered agents to prepare for “mass strikes” using “everything the HUR had” to mark the first anniversary of the outbreak of war on February 24.

The US had their reasons:

But once news of the planned attacks reached Washington, the CIA warned President Zelenskyy that a strike on Russia’s capital could trigger a direct conflict between America and Russia.

By then, news of the planned attacks had already reached the Kremlin. In the weeks leading up to the anniversary, air defences were installed on numerous key buildings in and around Moscow.

Oddly, the news appears to confirm the fact that US intelligence officials are somehow listening in on Ukrainian government lines – a realization that could strain the relationship between these two nations.
