Republican Lawmaker Gets on Board with Public Mueller Testimony

You can want Mueller to testify and still support President Trump, no matter what the mainstream media is trying to tell you.

Throughout all of the partisan bickering that we’ve endured in 2019, Americans have lost their way on some key issues in our country.

Right now, the mainstream media is pushing you into corner.  They want you to be on either one side or the other, right or left, red or blue, and they fear the day that Americans wake up from this nonsense.  The conflict that they are complicit in creating is driving a wedge between us – the greatest nation on earth.

This is simply unacceptable, as it leads to some profoundly poor pieces of logic.

For instance, a great many republican voters side with President Trump when it comes to the Mueller report, citing the Commander in Chief’s “exoneration” and his new “no do-evers” defense.

But what they are missing here is the truth.  They are hoping to get on with our legislative calendar just as the President is, but they are doing so at the risk of burying some very important information on who to protect our democracy from Russia come 2020.

One republican lawmaker is breaking rank, however, and hoping to get some answers from Robert Mueller himself.

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Outnumbered Overtime,” House Judiciary Committee member Greg Steube (R-FL) stated that he wants Special Counsel Robert Mueller to testify publicly.

Steube said, “If you spent 22 months and $25 million investigating the president, what is there that you’re going to say that can’t be made public if the entire — most of the report — the unredacted report has been made public to the American people?”

Steube understands that you can be both a patriot in favor of transparency and support Donald Trump at the same time.

We need more Americans to come to this realization…and fast.
