Rudy Giuliani Suggests ‘Trial by Combat’ in Congress at DC Rally

We have so many questions.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is a character, that’s undeniable.  He seems to exist on a politically-linear plane to Roger Stone, but with far less of the subtlety of the recently pardoned provocateur.  In his role as personal attorney to President Donald Trump, Rudy has spread his wings a bit, and explored some strange storylines in pursuit of his client’s continued role as Commander in Chief.

Now, at a massive “Stop The Steal” rally in Washington DC, Giuliani is suggesting a new path to victory:  Trial by combat.

RUDY Giuliani threatened a “trial by combat” in Congress as he said Mike Pence can reject Joe Biden’s state wins.

Giuliani made the comments during a “Stop The Steal” rally on Wednesday morning, as Americans await the results of the Georgia Senate race.

The attorney insisted that everything is “planned,” “appropriate” and “perfectly legal.”

He went on to insist that Vice President Mike Pence could reject the states’ Electoral College results.

“Let’s have trial by combat,” he told supporters.

And while Giuliani was certainly speaking in jest, the imagery alone is far too wild to ignore.

Would our elected officials tussle in hand-to-hand combat, or would binders and gavels be a part of the melee?  Would the Democrats insist that, if Bernie Sanders identifies as a female, he would then be eligible to challenge a female Republican Senator?  Would Mike Pence be the referee?

We have so many questions.
