Rudy Giuliani is loyal, we’ll give him that. And he’d tenacious. The man is a machine when it comes to fighting for something that he believes in.
But, at this point, he may be doing more harm than good.
Giuliani has been a steadfast member of Donald Trump’s legal team, going out on the road in recent weeks to hold hearings and file lawsuits, both of which alleged that a massive amount of voter fraud had taken place during the 2020 election. For this, Rudy has been ridiculed, insulted, and threatened with disbarment…and then he even caught The ‘Rona.
But now, with the President’s path to victory narrowing yet again, Rudy has maybe gone off the deep end a bit.
Speaking before Georgia State House Republicans, he claimed that a video of election officials counting ballots in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena not only showed them “stealing votes” but also passing out drugs.
Giuliani initially claimed last week that the “smoking gun” clip showed officials usher observers and reporters out of the room at 11 p.m. then pull out suitcases of stolen votes.
On Thursday, he added, “Look at that woman, look at her taking those ballots out, look at them scurrying around with the ballots, nobody in the room, hiding around, they look like they’re passing out dope not just ballots. It’s quite clear they’re stealing votes.”
While Rudy is undoubtedly as devoted and determined as a bulldog, some of these more delirious statements seem to be giving the media fresh new ways to attack he and the President’s work on the 2020 election.
