RussiaGate Back in Headlines as Dems Consider Mueller-borne Article of Impeachment

President Trump has been attacked like no other President in history, and this latest return to their roots belies the Democrats’ desperation.

From the very onset of President Trump’s political career, the Democrats have been on a fishing expedition.

Knowing full well that the President was looking to “drain the swamp” as a Washington outsider, the Deep State Democrats began a frantic search for cover.  They felt it would be necessary to oppose Trump at all costs, lest he succeed in routing out their deep-seated corruption, sending them back from whence they came.

One of the first attempts at derailing the Trump presidency came via Robert Mueller and his investigation into the harebrained conspiracy theory known as “RussiaGate”.  When the Mueller report turned up insufficient evidence to accuse the President of “collusion” or “conspiracy” with the Russian government, (despite ample time and resources being spent on the probe), the Democrats were forced to move on.

Soon, UkraineGate was on the agenda, and a “formal impeachment inquiry” had begun.

Now, in an act of desperation spawned from the inefficacies of this latest pseudo-scandal, the left is now turning back the clock and resurrecting the Mueller probe yet again.

House Democrats have launched an investigation into whether President Donald Trump made false statements in his written answers to special counsel Robert Mueller as part of his probe into now-debunked allegations of criminal conspiracy between the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia, according to CNN.

“Did the President lie? Was the President not truthful in his responses to the Mueller investigation?” House Judiciary Committee general counsel Douglas Letter asked before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit on why lawmakers require access to grand jury material obtained by Mueller.

The return to RussiaGate was prompted, in part, by the recent conviction of Trump confidante and political provocateur Roger Stone who was found guilty of lying to Congress regarding Wikileaks and their efforts to shed light on wrongdoing in the 2016 election.
