Sidney Powell Snaps Back at Tucker Carlson After Scathing Monologue

Powell was having NONE OF IT.

On Thursday, the Trump legal team presided over a lengthy somewhat wild press conference, in which they sparred with reporters and claimed again that the election of 2020 was “stolen” from the incumbent President.

Their declarations were astounding, to say the least, and social media platforms have had a heyday debunking and flagging video from the event on account of their stern stance against Donald Trump claiming a different outcome than that of the Associated Press, who called the election for Biden nearly two weeks ago.

During the rambunctious presser, lawyers Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, and Jenna Ellis emphasized that this was only their figurative “opening argument”, and that the court cases to come would provide plenty of evidence to back up their claims.

This wasn’t enough for Tucker Carlson, who invited the aforementioned Powell to appear on his television show and/or provide his staff with some of the evidence they claim to have.  When Powell declined, Carlson used his Thursday night monologue to trash-talk the entire spectacle.

Sidney Powell was having none of that.

“Apparently Mr. Carlson missed the news conference today,” Powell said in a statement late on Thursday, according to Washington Examiner breaking news reporter Anthony Leonardi.

“I would continue to encourage him and all journalists to review all the materials we have provided so far and conduct their own investigations.

“Evidence continues to pour in, but a 5 minute television hit is not my focus now. Collecting evidence and preparing the case are my top priorities,” Powell said.

Sidney Powell rose to prominence over the last few years, earning a reputation as a hard-nosed and battle-ready lawyer while working on the case against former national security adviser Michael Flynn – one that grew out of the Robert Mueller-led “RussiaGate” probe.
