On America’s southern border, a major humanitarian crisis is brewing, and the Biden administration is hoping that the nation at large will simply look the other way.
In fact, they’re encouraging exactly this sort of sentiment by not allowing journalists to visit and report on the condition in our nation’s migrant detention centers – something that was routinely touched upon by nightly news anchors during the Trump era.
Worse still, it appears that even our nation’s lawmakers are being shut out.
Cruz and Sen. John Cornyn, both Texas Republicans, led a delegation of senators to Donna, Texas, where migrants have been packed into facilities designed for a much smaller number of people. The senators were touring a migrant holding facility in the city.
“Please give dignity to the people. Please give dignity to the people. … Please respect the people, the rules,” the staffer told Cruz while blocking his camera with her face.
The video was troubling, to say the least.
How far is Joe Biden going to stop the American people from seeing inside the Donna CBP facility?

Biden himself attempted to deflect his role in fomenting the massive influx of migrants that our nation is seeing in the early days of this presidency, declaring during a press conference that his friendly immigration policies were being blamed for a routine, “seasonal” surge.
