Trump Brutalizes Bloomberg After Nightmare Debate Performance

Did Trump just end Bloomberg’s candidacy?

Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg has only recently found himself anywhere near the top of the pack for the 2020 Democratic nomination, and his brief time in the spotlight has already seen its fair share of squabbles.

Mr. Mayor was on the debate stage for the first time this week in Nevada, and boy was it noticeable.  Nearly every other candidate on the dais had it out for Bloomberg, simply annihilating his record.  Race relations, greed, and sexual harassment were all on the menu, and the race’s relative newcomer was soon slinking back to near-obscurity.

President Donald Trump joined in on the bashing of Bloomberg as well.

President Trump riffed on several of the Democratic presidential primary contendersbefore a fired-up crowd in Las Vegas Friday, one day before Nevada Democrats caucus to determine their choice to be the party’s standard-bearer.

In his remarks, Trump focused former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg, whose performance in Wednesday’s debate has been widely criticized.

“I think he’s gone,” Trump initially said of the 78-year-old media mogul’s chances, before adding: “You know what? He’ll spend another $500 million. I spent $70 million and I won.”

“Mini Mike so far has spent almost $500 million in order to get embarrassed by Pocahontas,” he remarked, using his favorite nickname for Warren.

Bloomberg and Trump have some history.

The two periodically clashed during their time together in The Big Apple, where the wealthy socialites ran in several of the same circles.
