Trump Fans Suggest ‘Patriot Moat’ at Mar-a-Lago

Trump’s arrest appears imminent.

Over the weekend, Donald Trump revealed shocking news of his imminent arrest in New York City, and his sent his supporters scrambling.

Trump has claimed that he will be arrested on Tuesday in connection with the Manhattan DA’s investigation into alleged hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels.  The former President has already suggested that his followers protest the arrest, (and “take our nation back” as well), but some within the MAGA Movement are floating a different idea:  Shielding Trump from authorities.

“Surround Mar-A-Lago or wherever he currently is and prevent ‘law enforcement’ from entering,” wrote one person on the website.

“Protest AROUND him, BEFORE the arrest. FFS people, this ain’t rocket science,” wrote another person on a thread entitled “Trump to be arrested on Tuesday. Our government is lost.”

That wasn’t all…

And another added: “Pick a blue city, take a Trump train like the 75 mile long one in FL, park on the freeways and shut it down. It would be easy to do this to NY- just block the bridges and tunnels. They don’t have enough cops left to do anything.”

Trump has made no indication that he would resist the arrest, however, and that there would be “no stand-off at Mar-a-Lago”.
