Trump Pushes ‘ObamaGate’ as ‘Biggest’ Political Crime in US History

As an avalanche of RussiaGate material threatens to bury The Beltway, President Trump is going on the offensive.

The filthy underbelly of the Deep State has been exposed yet again over the course of the last few days, and President Trump isn’t wasting this opportunity in his quest to drain the swamp.

Last week, former national security adviser General Michael Flynn notched an enormous victory for himself, when the DOJ dropped the charges against him.  Flynn had been charged with lying to the FBI during the RussiaGate investigation, but recently revealed, handwritten notes from the Bureau itself seemed to indicate that agents had been considering tricking the highly-decorated military man into fibbing.

Now, as an avalanche of damning RussiaGate documents looks poised to bury The Beltway in controversy, President Trump is rebranding the entire affair…and calling out those who looked to use their power in dastardly ways.

“The biggest political crime in American history, by far!” the president wrote in a tweet accompanying a conservative talk show host’s claim that Barack Obama “used his last weeks in office to target incoming officials and sabotage the new administration”.

The tweet echoed previous messages retweeted by Trump, which earned rebukes for relaying conspiracy theories. On Sunday afternoon the president continued to send out a stream of tweets of memes and rightwing talking heads claiming an anti-Trump conspiracy. One tweet by Trump simply read: “OBAMAGATE!”

The President also insinuated via Twitter last week that there would be more bombshells forthcoming in regard to RussiaGate, and that proposition certainly has the Democrats sweating.
