Trump Tells Georgia Crowd He’s Going to ‘Lock Up The Bidens’

Trump went there.

There are only a couple of weeks left until it’s time to decide a winner of this tumultuous 2020 presidential election, but that doesn’t mean that either candidate can sit back and coast over the finish line.  In fact, things have only been getting more heated as we approach November 3rd.

The last two weeks alone have been incredibly, historically wild, with enormous bombshell news stories that could tip the election in either direction.  First, the New York Times dug up some version of President Trump’s tax returns and released a scathing report on the President fiscal history.  Them, just days later, Donald Trump was hospitalized with a nasty case of COVID-19.

Then, about a week after the President returned to the White House, the New York Post published a damning report, indicating that 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden may have been consistency lying about his involvement in his son’s overseas business affairs.

Naturally, when the President took the stage at a rally in Georgia over the weekend, the subject of Joe Biden came up…and the Commander in Chief was not mincing his words.

President Donald Trump called on Friday night for Joe Biden and his family to be jailed, escalating his attacks on his Democratic opponent over unsupported accusations as he struggles to reverse his deficit in the polls.

“Lock up the Bidens. Lock up Hillary,” Trump declared at a rally in Macon, Georgia, stoking the crowd that chanted “lock him up” in favor of the Democratic candidate’s imprisonment.

“We’ve learned over the last couple of months: Joe Biden is a corrupt politician,” Trump said to his supporters, “and the Biden family is a criminal enterprise.”

Trump hadn’t previously suggested the arrest of the Bidens on this campaign, making this statement a marked escalation of rhetoric.
