Tulsi Gabbard Scorches Hillary Clinton on Twitter After ‘Russian Asset’ Insinuation

Tulsi went for the jugular.

For weeks now, there has been speculation that Hillary Clinton could be preparing for a late entry into the 2020 race.  After the day she’s having today, however, we wouldn’t bet on it.

Clinton’s recent uptick in public appearances and Twitter tirades likely has the Democratic Party a little bit nervous.  The former Secretary of State has long been a stain on the entire organization, particularly after being caught red-handed rigging the 2016 primaries against Democratic darling Bernie Sanders.

For many on the left, the most sought after outcome here would be for Clinton to simply fade away into obscurity and let the Democrats handle the fallout of her previous malfeasance in peace.

But, no.  Clinton is rip-roaring back into the national consciousness this week after alleging that Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who is running for President in 2020, is a “Russian asset” being “groomed” to spoil the Democrats’ chances in 2020 as a third party candidate.

Gabbard completely excoriated the former First Lady on Twitter over the allegation.

Hours later, Hillary Clinton would pull out of an event in which both she and Gabbard were set to appear, claiming that a “scheduling conflict” prevented her from attending.
