Tweet from First Daughter Sparks Speculation of 2024 Presidential Run
The rumors are already swirling.
Americans have become ever more invested in politics over the course of the last few years, and this governmental cognizance has turbocharged the usually dull and dragging timelines of our elected officials.
This could very well be a combination of having a President in Donald Trump whose showmanship is steering the narrative, and the coronavirus pandemic having shut down major Hollywood productions, leaving Americans with plenty of time to pay attention to politics.
In either case, this hyperactivity in the wide world of public service has moved up the timeline for campaign announcements and fundraising, which has, in turn, led to a lot of speculation about a certain tweet from Ivanka Trump.
A tweet by Ivanka Trump is raising eyebrows in the political world as it may hint that President Trump’s daughter and adviser may have national aspirations of her own.
The younger Trump took to Twitter on Monday to write that she loves Iowa, using an exclamation point for extra emphasis. Her tweet quickly garnered over 10,000 likes.
Trump was retweeting a tweet by Republican Gov. Kim Reynolds of Iowa, who wrote “On this day in 1846, President James K. Polk signed a bill making Iowa the 29th state in the Union. Happy Statehood Day to the great State of Iowa, and to all who proudly call her home.”
It was just weeks ago that there was heavy speculation that Donald Trump may hold a 2024 campaign announcement rally during Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20th, which would have the potential to freeze out other possible GOP contenders.
And any announcement from Ivanka may just do the same.
