Vice President Pence Issues Powerful Statement Regarding COVID-19 Coronavirus

Finally…some good news!

New broke earlier today that the United States had suffered its first casualty from the novel COVID-19 strain of coronavirus today, which certainly had nerves around the nation rattled.

The deadly virus has bene wreaking havoc in the Far East, where over 80,000 are infected and over 2,800 have perished.  The contagion’s swift spread and fourteen day incubation period have made tackling the illness difficult to say the least.

Vice President Mike Pence has been assigned by President Trump to oversee America’s response to the deadly near-pandemic, and he has some positive news to report.

Of dozens of confirmed coronavirus cases in the United States, only one patient is still in the hospital, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence said on Friday.

“In every case, people are being treated and by all accounts are doing well,” he said during a live-streamed news conference with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

In total, there have been 15 confirmed cases across the United States, with 46 other cases among people who returned to the country from overseas and were quarantined.

A politic battle has erupted over the virus here in the United States, with Democrats attempting to preemptively blame any future trouble that COVID-19 causes on President Trump and his administration.

The President himself has repeatedly insisted that the virus is “under control” in the US, while admitting that we will undoubtedly see more cases as the illness continues to frustrate medical professionals.
