At the onset of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, there was some serious trepidation about just how terrifying it could be.
Now, don’t get me wrong: There has been plenty of horror to behold, (enough for Putin to be facing an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court), but this wasn’t the weeks-long blitzkrieg that most of the world thought would occur.
In fact, the whole thing has been rather disappointing for the Kremlin, who’ve been forced to both escalate their rhetoric to the point of threatening nuclear annihilation and, ironically, mobilizing tanks built in the 1940’s after they discovered just how proficient Ukraine’s military was at blowing up their nicer units.
After Russian were caught harassing US drones and bombers in recent days, the western world decided that it was high time to send Putin a message.
US nuclear B-52 bombers were flanked by NATO fighters in V-formation during a massive show of strength to Vladimir Putin.
It was a heck of a lot of hardware.
“Get a cockpit view of the US Air Force B-52 Stratofortress bombers working with NATO Allies during a recent mission over Europe,” said the alliance.
“The B-52s are training with Allied Air Forces during their BTF (Bomber Task Force) mission strengthening our Euro-Atlantic partnership.”
On display are Italian Typhoons, Spanish F-18s and Romanian F-16s.
The video was impressive, to say the least.

Fears of a third world war have continued to swell in recent months, as Putin’s belligerence becomes nearly unbearable for the rest of the civilized world.
