WATCH: AOC Issues Clownish Response to Omar’s Bigotry-Triggered Ouster

This is buffoonery of the highest order.

As the Republican Party continues to exert its newfound authority over the House of Representatives, there are a number of rather dramatic, (but long sought-after), changes being made.

One such maneuver was the removal of Democratic lawmaker Ilhan Omar from her post on the Foreign Affairs Committee, due to her history of antisemitic statements.

Despite the well-chronicled nature of Omar’s bigotry, she and her colleagues attempted to suggest that her ouster was a product of racism.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., angrily hit back at congressional Republicans during a raucous speech on the House floor Thursday in response to a vote to boot Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., off the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

The New York Democratic lawmaker declared to her fellow members that the GOP was “targeting women of color” with its vote to oust Omar, which Republicans said was due to past antisemitic and anti-American remarks.

The dramatics were notable.

The congresswoman smacked her notebook against the podium after her speaking time ended.

And then, in a clownish display of buffoonery.

The GOP was very clear about their reasoning for removing Omar, citing her repeated smears against the Jewish people and her flippant remarks regarding the nature of the attacks of September 11, 2001.
