White House Press Staff Resigns After Ugly Altercation with Female Reporter

Unbelievable.

President Joe Biden has promised America a return to what he considers “normalcy”, after four years of Donald Trump’s unconventional politicking has changed the way in which DC operates.

Trump was elected as a wrecking ball, with a great many of his followers deciding that Washington DC needed to be shaken to its core.  The old guard had gotten far too comfortable, and they needed a kick in the pants from way outside of The Beltway.

This meant that, while Donald Trump had has fair share of scandals, they were far outside of the realm of the “normal” Washington fiascos.

But, now that Biden’s back, we’ve already gotten a taste of the older, swampier ways.

Deputy White House press secretary TJ Ducklo on Saturday said he was resigning amid allegations that he made “derogatory and misogynistic” remarks to Politico reporter Tara Palmeri nearly a month ago.

Ducklo issued a statement on Saturday expressing his “regret,” “embarrassment,” and “disgust” for his behavior.

The sexism-tinged comments were summed up sternly by Ducklo himself.

“I used language that no woman should ever hear from anyone, especially in a situation where she was just trying to do her job,” Ducklo said. “It was language that was abhorrent, disrespectful, and unacceptable.”

The fact that Ducklo wasn’t immediately fired by Joe Biden came as a surprise to many, who distinctly recall the President’s recent and unwavering promise to fire anyone “on the spot” if they are caught disrespecting another person.

Ducklo had threatened to “destroy” a female journalist over her alleged relationship with a member of a rival organization.
